What’s the difference between the NC 4-hour and 8-hour Traffic Safety course?
Each course is tailored to your location. The 4-hour course is specifically designed for residents of Guilford or Wake counties.
I Drive Safely provides two distinct defensive driving courses for North Carolina:
North Carolina 4-Hour Traffic Safety Course
The 4-hour course is for drivers in Guilford or Wake counties. It is a more condensed version of the traditional 8-hour course, but it meets these counties’ traffic violation requirements.
North Carolina 8-Hour Traffic Safety Course
The 8-hour course is for drivers in all other North Carolina counties and those who have already completed the 4-hour course in the last three years.
