In North Dakota, teens may begin the driver education process as early as age 14. If you are 14 or 15, you will be required to complete a state-approved drivers ed course. Your driver training will consist of a 30-hour course, as well as 6 hours of supervised driving practice with a driving instructor. You must have completed driver education and 50 hours of practice driving in variable conditions if you are under the age of 16, prior to being allowed to take the road test.
