The Georgia Point System
Like other states, Georgia employs a point system to keep its drivers responsible and accountable for their actions on the road. One way to prevent your drivers license from being suspended is to view your driving history report. In doing so, you can view the amount of points you may already have accrued, allowing you to know how close you may be to receiving a suspended license. You can order a copy of your driving history report in person or online; you can choose to view your driving history for the past 3 years, or for the past 7 years.
